Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using SuMal (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The Service

SuMal is a personal money management tool that lets you record income, expenses and savings. It is provided free of charge. Optional sync uses your own Google Drive; optional sign-in uses your Google account. Using the App does not create an account with us, and we operate no servers that store your data.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter.
• You are responsible for backing up your data and for protecting any backup password you set. If you lose your password, encrypted backups cannot be recovered by anyone — including us.
• You are responsible for the security of the device and Google account you use the App with.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it in violation of any applicable law or of Google's terms governing your Google account and Drive.

5. Google Services

If you use Google sign-in or Drive sync, your use of Google accounts, Drive and related services remains subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It is a planning tool, not a substitute for professional financial advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
